Tehran, IRNA - Iran's new ambassador to Tunisia presented his credentials to Tunisian President Kais Saied on Friday.

Mir Masoud Hosseinian, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tunisia, presented his credentials to the president of this country today (Friday).

The meeting with the high-ranking Tunisian official took place while only three days have passed since the arrival of the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tunisia, and this is a rare event in its kind.

Yesterday, Hosseinian had submitted a copy of his credentials to the Tunisian foreign minister.
