Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al Sadeq has met and held talks with Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian upon his visit to Tehran on Wednesday.

Al Sadeq presented a report to the country’s top diplomat on the progress of bilateral relations and cooperation between Iran and Iraq.

According to IRNA, Amirabdollahian in the meeting also referred to the privileged and strategic relations between the two neighboring and friendly countries.

There is the need of the full implementation of the agreements and documents signed between the high officials of the two countries in order to further enhance the bilateral cooperation, the foreign minister emphasized.

Amiabdollahian also called for the realization of joint goals of the two governments in different fields.
