Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Ambassador to Jakarta Mohammad Boroujerdi and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Pahala Mansury met and held talks in the Indonesian capital city Jakarta.

During the meeting, Boroujerdi called for speeding up and expanding cooperation between the two countries.

The Iranian diplomat referred to the signing of 10 memoranda of understanding between Tehran and Jakarta during a visit by President Ebrahim Raisi to Indonesia in May 2023, expressing satisfaction with the successful implementation of most of the MoUs and calling for expediting the accomplishment of the remaining ones.

Mansury, for his part, pointed to Iran’s capacities in healthcare, nano-technology, biotech, and medical equipment fields, calling for the development of mutual collaborations in different sectors.
