According to Al Jazeera, the Zionist army announced late on Saturday that three soldiers were killed and 14 others injured, five of them in critical condition in the fighting in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis.
Spokesman for the Zionist army, Daniel Hagari, said that the fatalities and injuries among the troopers were caused by a bomb explosion.
He also acknowledged that the invading troops are facing stiff resistance from the Palestinians fighters in Khan Yunis, a city that has become a focal point of the invading troops in recent weeks.
The regime’s military has so far confirmed 246 deaths among its soldiers since the launch of a ground invasion of Gaza in late October.
The announced number of casualties of the regime has reached more than 580 since the onset of the war on Gaza under the pretext of the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm launched on October 7, 2023by the Palestinians resistance movement Hamas in response to the regime’s decades-long brutalities.
Palestinian groups and some Israeli media outlets suspect the Israeli military figure, saying the regime is intentionally hiding the real number of casualties among its forces to avoid the Israeli public anger.
