Tehran, IRNA-The director general of the West Asia department of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) in a meeting with the Syrian Ambassador to Tehran has stressed the need to implement bilateral agreements between the two countries.

According to the TPOI website, Abdol Amir Rabihavi in a meeting with the Syrian envoy, Shafik Dayoub while invited him for a conference on Syrian’s reconstruction in the coming week, discussed ways to remove obstacles in the ways of trade and business cooperation between the two countries.

Rabihavi stressed on reviving the exhibition activities as well as sending and receiving trade, business delegations to implement trade agreements signed during the Iranian President’s visit to Syria and the Syrian Prime Minister’s trip to Iran.

While reviewing the volume of trade between the two sides, the Iranian official also pointed out some problems faced by businessmen and emphasized on removing them.

Stressing the determination of Syrian leaders in developing business cooperation with Iran, the Syrian Ambassador, for his part, announced his readiness to attend the conference and presented operational solutions to resolve the problems faced by businessmen and remove trade barriers between the two countries.
