Muhammed Hamed, in an interview with the IRNA, on the sidelines of the 24th Iran Media Expo in Tehran on Wednesday said that the Palestinian people want their land back from Israeli occupiers.
He added that the Israeli regime's aggression against Gaza in the wake of Al-Aqsa Storm operation opened the eyes of those who want to follow and analyze the issue of Palestine correctly.
The Israeli war on Gaza has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 29,300 Palestinians and the injury of over 70,000 others as well as the destruction of tens of thousands of houses, Hamed said, adding that Arab and Islamic media outlets played a key role in giving coverage to the scale of atrocities and discrediting all propaganda campaigns of Israel and its advocates and their labeling of the Zionist regime as democratic and its army as one of the most moral ones in the world.
According to this media activist, the Palestinian nation has been oppressed for over 75 years and the occupiers are pursuing the policy of total annihilation of Palestinians from their ancestral land, but he said that the resistance has proved to be a major stumbling block in the way of Zionist usurpers and their nefarious plots.
He further said that the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm was an effort to hinder the regime's plots to change the world public opinion about Palestinians' strive to free from the occupation.
"The operation reminded people around the world that the Palestinian nation eagerly want their rights back and get rid of the occupiers", he added.
