Tehran, IRNA -- Iran’s Judiciary chief has called on the Islamic world to stand up against the Zionist regime and use all leverage available to stop its "war machine" in Gaza.

“The entire Islamic world must stand up against the Zionist war machine and it is necessary to activate all levers to stop the Zionists' ferocious and blind killings in Gaza,” Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejeie said in a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani in Baghdad on Wednesday.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, Ejeie arrived in Baghdad on Tuesday for talks with senior Iraqi officials to promote bilateral ties and judicial cooperation between the two countries.

Iran’s Judiciary chief said the Islamic Republic has always been a supporter of stability, security and development in Iraq and is ready to help its neighboring country overcome all challenges.

He also stressed the need for the full implementation of a security agreement that Iran signed with Iraq last March to combat the shared threat of terrorism.

Al Sudani, for his part, said Iraq appreciated the Iranian leadership for its constant support of the Arab country.

The Iraqi prime minister conveyed his government’s keen interest to strengthen cooperation with Iran in all areas, and detailed the steps that have been taken to implement the joint projects between the two countries.
