Tehran, IRNA – Ibrahim Hesar, a soccer player with dual nationality of Syria and Argentina, has joined Iran’s Foolad Khuzestan FC.

Hesar, 30, joined the Iranian team after signing a one--and-a-half-year contract, according to a Tuesday report by the IRNA.

Hesar, who became a member of the Syrian national football team a few months ago, joined Foolad after the club's coach Ignacio Martínez approved his technical capabilities.

He has played as halfback, winger and forward in clubs like Belgrano and Tiro Federal.
