The Times of Israel quoted Yoav Gallant as saying on Monday that Israel is ready to resolve issues with Hezbollah through diplomacy.
“I say here explicitly: Until we reach a situation in which it’s possible to restore security for residents of the north, we will not stop. Whether we reach this through a [diplomatic] arrangement or military means, we will [restore] calm,” Gallant said.
Earlier on Friday, Gallant had said that even a ceasefire in Gaza will not stop the war against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah launched fresh missile attacks on targets controlled by the Israeli regime in the north of occupied Palestine on Monday.
The group says it will continue attacks on the Israeli-controlled targets until the regime end its brutal war on Palestinians in Gaza.
