--  Oil minister discusses techno-engineering ties in Venezuela

Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji held talks with Venezuela’s high-ranking officials on bilateral relations and ongoing projects in Caracas.
Owji exchanged views with his Venezuelan counterpart Pedro Rafael Tellechea, Foreign Minister Yván Gil, and other top officials on exports of Iran’s technical and engineering services, refining operations and overhaul of refineries in the Latin American country, creation of a market for Iran’s private sector, particularly in the petrochemical sector, and investment in oil and energy industries.

--  Iran has made ‘gains’ in economy, foreign policy: US think tank

aThe Islamic Republic of Iran has made gains in domestic and foreign policy, driving economic growth and expanding its influence in the region despite years of pressure by the United States, according to an analysis by a major US think tank.
Patrick Clawson, a senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, wrote in a recent analysis for the pro-Israel American think tank that US officials have been wrong believing that they could extract concessions from Iran through economic sanctions.

--  IRICA’s tax collection up 45% in 10 months

The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) said the country’s customs revenues in the first four months of the current Iranian year to late January has reached the equivalent of some $2.8 billion.
Mohammad Rezvanifar said the figure - more than 1,575 trillion rials - shows a 45% increase in the total customs revenues collected from imported goods compared to the same period last year.

-- Minister: Iran Building Largest Launch Base in West Asia 

Iran’s minister of communications and information technology (ICT) said Sunday the country is building the largest space launch base in the West Asian region. Issa Zarepour said the country will launch another satellite by the end of the current Iranian calendar year on March 20. Important events have taken place in the space industry of the country, the ICT minister said, putting the number of satellite launches in the country since the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi took office in August 2021 at 11. He expressed hope that the country will soon increase the number of space launches. 

--  Official: Exports of Products From Asaluyeh Ports Grow 10%

The Manager of the Ports and Maritime Department in Asaluyeh Emran Tayyebi, said the loading of the export products in Asaluyeh’s ports registered a 10 percent hike in the first 10 months of the current Iranian calendar year(started March).
Tayyebi said there was a 10-percent rise in the loading operation of export products at the ports of the city from March 21, 2023, to January 22, 2024.

--  Official: Iran 19th Largest Producer of Milk in World

The head of the Cattlemen Association of Iran Ahmad Moghaddasi has said that the country is the 19th largest producer of raw milk in the world.
Moghaddasi put the volume of raw milk produced in the country in the first 10 months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2023, to January 22, 2024) at 11.7 million tons.

 The chief commander of Iran’s Air Defense Force has highlighted the round-the-clock monitoring and identification of foreign drones through the vigilance of personnel, underscoring the advanced capabilities of our country's defense equipment.

Addressing a group of graduate students from Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense University in Tehran on Monday, Brigadier General Alireza Sabahifard commemorated the forty-fifth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Iranian director Morteza Atashzamzam highlighted that his recent movie "Beautiful Lies" shines light on the human connection that transcends borders and cultures, showcasing the shared experiences of people around the world.

The film is a heartfelt portrayal of the resilience of the human spirit, capturing the beauty and complexity of life in Bangladesh, IRNA quoted Atashzamzam as saying on Sunday.

 World Cancer Day is observed on February 4 every year as the world unites to raise awareness on fundamental cancer issues. This year the Day is celebrated under the theme of “Together, we challenge those in power”.

This theme encompasses the global demand for leaders to prioritize and invest in cancer prevention and care and to do more to achieve a just and cancer-free world.
