Tehran, IRNA— An Iranian legislator has said IRGC’s attacks on targets controlled by terrorists in the region showed that Iran will act firmly and decisively when it comes to protecting its security.

Vahid Jalalzadeh, head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, told IRNA on Wednesday that the IRGC's missile attack on terrorist positions and the Zionist regime's spy bases in the region implied a clear message to Iran's enemies that protection of security is a red line for the country.

Jalalzadeh said that the IRGC showed that it is able to root out terrorists whenever it decides to do so, he further noted.

Early on Tuesday, the IRGC issued statements saying its attacks on terrorists in the region were in response to recent terrorist attacks in Iran's southeastern city of Kerman as well as a terrorist attack on the Rask police station in Sistan and Baluchistan province.
