Tehran, IRNA - Iranian Ambassador to Spain Reza Zabib has strongly denounced the West’s disregard for Israeli atrocities against Palestinian civilians in Gaza, arguing that the Western discourse has gone beyond the typical “double standard” and sunk into “moral non-standard.”

“After 75 years of occupiers' crimes, Palestine is alive. For a regime whose fundamental myth is based on the non-existence and destruction of Palestine, proving the vitality of Palestine means facing an existential threat,” Zabib wrote in a post on Sunday.

"The boundless cruelty of the (Israeli) regime against women, children, and others has exposed its true nature," he added.

The ambassador pointed out that public opinion in the West has turned against the Israeli regime since it launched the war on Gaza 100 days ago.

The Israeli atrocities also exposed the “authoritarian and anti-civilizational discourse” of the United States, as the main supporter of the occupying regime.
