Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Ambassador to Madrid Reza Zabib has submitted his credentials to Spain’s King Felipe VI at a special ceremony in Royal Palace.

“My mission follows further expansion of cordial and long-lasting ties between the two countries,” Zabib told the King of Spain after presenting his credentials in a ceremony on Friday.

In the ceremony, the Iranian ambassador elaborated on the Islamic Republic's stance on the issue of Palestine and the Zionist regime of Israel’s crimes in Gaza.

He went on to stress that peace in Palestine will be achieved solely if the rights of the Palestinian nation are restored.
