Tehran, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani strongly condemned the adventurous act of the Zionist regime in the assassination of the martyr Wissam Hassan al-Tawil, one of the jihadi commanders of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

Wissam Hassan al-Tawil was killed when the strike hit the vehicle transporting him in the village of Khirbet Selm on Monday.

On Monday night, Kanaani said that the Zionist regime's turning to blatant terrorist operations was the reason for the obvious weakness and helplessness of this regime in the military dimension and the painful blows inflicted on its fake heyman in the battlefield, including in the Gaza Strip.
