The National Iranian football team, aka Team Melli, left Iran for Qatar on Monday to participate in the 18th edition of the Asian Nations Cup. Team Melli will face Indonesia behind closed doors in their last friendly on January 9. Iran will play its first match against Palestine in the Asian Nations Cup on January 14, 2024.
