“The situation after October 7 is not similar to what was before it, and the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm caused the Zionist regime to lose all tools of power and support,” Head of Hezbollah's Politburo Ibrahim Amin Al-Sayyed said, according to a Sunday report by IRNA citing Elnashra.
The Operation Al-Aqsa Storm was conducted by the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, from Gaza against Israeli positions. According to revised figures by the regime, the operation left around 1,200 people dead in Israel. Hamas also took an estimated 240 people captive.
In retaliation for the operation, the Israeli regime has waged a devastating war on Gaza, which has caused an international outcry over a rising civilian death toll that has already passed 21,600. Tens of thousands of others have been injured too.
Resistance groups in the region, from Iraq to Lebanon and Yemen have launched operations against the Israeli regime as well as US interests in a show of support for the Palestinians in Gaza.
