Tehran, IRNA – The forces of Lebanon’s Islamic Resistance, Hezbollah, has attacked the Zionists’ military base in northern occupied Palestine, news sources reported.

Hezbollah carried out several operations on Saturday targetting Israeli military bases near the Lebanese border, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced in a statement.

All the operations were "in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their brave and honorable Resistance", the Resistance group stressed.

According to Lebanon’s news network Al Mayadeen, Hezbollah targeted the Zionist regime's site “Zarit" barracks with several rockets in the northern occupied lands.

Another gathering of Israeli soldiers near the "Ramim" barracks was struck using appropriate weapons, Hezbollah stated, confirming that the occupation troops were directly hit.

Meanwhile, Israeli attacks on towns and villages in southern Lebanon continue concurrently with the ongoing brutal war on besieged Gaza.

Israeli airstrikes targetted the outskirts of the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Yaroun.

Backed by the US, the Zionist regime waged the war on Gaza on October 7 after Hamas-led Palestinian Resistance groups carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime’s decades-long campaign of death and destruction in Palestine.
