Tehran, IRNA- A Lebanese official has said that Lebanon is prepared for any possible military conflict with the Israeli regime amid intensified Israeli attacks on border regions.

Labor Minister Moustafa Bayram said that the “final word” will be determined on the battlefield, stressing that Lebanon is ready for any war imposed on the country, according to the Palestinian Sama news agency.

“We do not attack anyone, but we have the right to respond to any aggression. We are ready to respond to any aggression we may face and are prepared for any war imposed upon us,” he said.

Bayram dismissed the Israeli regime’s threat to target Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, secretary-general of the Hezbollah resistance movement, but added that Hezbollah takes such threats seriously and takes all measures to protect its leaders.

Last week, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati warned that Israeli attacks on his country would escalate tensions in the region, triggering a war that would engulf all regional countries.

Israeli forces and Hezbollah fighters have exchanged fire on an almost daily basis since the Israeli regime launched an all-out war against the Gaza Strip in early October.
