The meeting took place as part of Amirabdollahian’s visit to Yerevan where he has already met with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.
The visit to Armenia is Amirabdollahian’s second visit to Yerevan since he became Iran’s foreign minister in August 2021.
During his previous visit to the neighboring country last year, the Iranian foreign minister launched Iran’s consulate in Kapan.
