Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Judiciary Chief Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejeie has extended his condolences over the martyrdom of Seyyed Razi Mousavi, who was a veteran advisor of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in Syria.

In a message on Monday night, the judiciary chief extended his condolences to the Supreme Leader as well as the IRGC and the martyred advisor’s family, hours after he lost his life in an Israeli airstrike in the Syrian capital Damascus.

Mohseni Ejeie expressed grief over the martyrdom of Brigadier General Seyyed Razi Mousavi “at the hands of criminal and occupier Zionists”, saying that he was among the companions of General Qassem Soleimani, a top IRGC commander who was martyred in a US drone attack in Iraq in January 2020.

Seyyed Razi Mousavi was a senior member of the IRGC, who was in charge of logistics support for the Resistance Front in Syria. He was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Zeinabiyah district of Damascus.
