Tehran, IRNA – A military base run by the US forces in Syria has come under rocket attacks, shows a report, amid a campaign by resistance forces in the Western Asia region to pressure the US to end its support for the Israeli regime’s aggression on Palestine.

Lebanon’s Arabic language Al Mayadin TV said in a report early on Sunday that rockets had targeted the US military base in the airport in Kharab al-Jir in the northeastern Syrian province of Hasakah.

There was no immediate information about the damage caused by the attack, said the report.

Resistance forces in Iraq have launched dozens of attacks on US forces illegally stationed in Syria since Israel launched an aggression on Gaza in early October.

The Iraqi forces say the attacks are meant to force Washington to end its support for a brutal Israeli aggression that has left more than 20,000 people killed in Gaza.
