Tehran, IRNA – The death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza has reached 20,000 as the regime presses ahead with its indiscriminate air attacks on the Palestinian territory for 75 days now.

According to an announcement by the Gaza Government Media Office on Wednesday, at least 20,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed and over 55,000 injured since the war began on October 7.

Thousands more remain unaccounted for, while 90% of the whole population have been displaced.

The regime began its war following the unprecedented Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Hamas resistance movement against Israeli positions from Gaza on October 7. The operation left 1,140 people dead in Israel, according to the regime’s official figures.

During more than two months of war, Israel has continued bombing residential buildings and near hospitals.

The regime has also intensified its daily raids against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, killing more than 300 people there since October 7, according to official Palestinian figures.
