Tehran, IRNA – A Spanish member of the European Parliament has called for bringing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his accomplices to justice for collective punishment of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Manu Pineda, who is also head of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with Palestine, released a video on his X (formerly Twitter) account, saying that leaving people without electricity, water and fuel in Gaza, which is under Israeli blockade since 2007, amounts to collective punishment like what Nazi Germany committed in the Warsaw Ghetto.

On the course of Israeli war on Gaza, over 19,000 Palestinians lost their lives, including over 70 percent children and women, he said, adding that over 7,500 other Palestinians are still under rubles.

Pineda emphasized that we cannot neglect these crimes, because we are tasked with bringing Netanyahu and his accomplices to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

He also condemned the West for supporting the Israeli regime’s genocide in the besieged area.
