Zahedan, IRNA – A person has been executed in Zahedan, southeastern Iran, after being found guilty of spying for foreign intelligence agencies including Mossad.

Public relations department of Iran’s Judiciary announced on Saturday that the mentioned person had been collecting classified information and handed over them to foreign intelligence agencies.

Zahedan’s Revolution Court sentenced him to death penalty for disrupting the country’s order and propaganda for anti-Revolutionary groups and organizations.

His demand for acquittal was rejected in the court of appeal so that the assassination was carried out in Zahedan early on Saturday.
