Tehran, IRNA – As the Israeli regime continues aggression against the Gaza Strip, the regime’s economy is being hit hard, including the transit of commodities at Haifa Port in northern occupied territories that are witnessing stumbling blocks.

According to Rai al-Youm newspaper, the Jordan government announced publically the halt of using Haifa Port to export Jordanian goods to European and US markets.

Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply of Jordan Yousef Shamali made the remark in a meeting with representatives of the Chamber of Industry and Trade in Irbid City in northern Jordan.

Jordan plans to export its commodities to the United States via the Port of Aqaba located in northwestern of the Arab country.

The shift indicates that the level of economic exchanges between Jordan and the Israeli regime is experiencing a severe decline as a result of the regime’s relentless war crimes in the Gaza Strip.

An informed source told Rai al-Youm that the process of exporting Jordan’s commodities from Haifa Port, which was preferred by the United States and Jordanian exporters were pushed to use this Israeli port as a precondition, has been halted in practice.
