Tehran, IRNA – A spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces has announced yet another military operation by the Arab country against Israeli positions in response to the regime’s continuous onslaught in the Gaza Strip, saying that ballistic missiles have hit military posts in Israel.

Army Spokesman Yahya Saree announced on Wednesday that the Yemeni army launched several ballistic missiles at military posts in the southern Israeli city of Eilat, according to Yemeni TV Al-Masirah.

Saree added that the Yemeni armed forces would continue to "carry out their military operations against the Israeli enemy, as well as implementing the decision to prevent Israeli ships from navigating the Arab and Red Seas in support of the oppressed Palestinian people,” Reuters quoted him as saying.

He added that those operations and measures would continue until the Israeli regime stops its aggression against Gaza.

According to the website of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, the Wednesday missile strikes were the twelfth anti-Israel military operation by Yemen since the regime began its war on Gaza on October 7.

The Yemeni army has also launched a series of operations against Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea in solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
