Kanaani expressed regret regarding some paragraphs of the 44th PGCC Summit Final Communique concerning the Islamic Republic of Iran and rejected these claims.
He stressed Iran's principled positions, saying that the three Persian islands of Abu Musa, the Greater Tunb, and the Lesser Tunb are an integral and eternal part of the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran's missile capabilities are within the framework of the transparent military doctrine and based on deterrence and maintaining national security, he said.
What is the real danger to the security of the region is the military presence of trans-regional actors as well as the Zionist regime as the main source of insecurity and threat to Islamic countries and stability and security, Kanaani stated.
He emphasized Iran's role in the real fight against terrorism, as well as strengthening maritime security.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has always adhered to its international obligations within the framework of rights and obligations and continues its constructive cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency based on the comprehensive safeguards agreement, he added.
Based on its bilateral negotiations with the Kuwaiti government, Iran has always emphasized friendly and constructive cooperation in the field of energy, including in the Arash region, he further noted.
