Parand, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has inaugurated the process of handing over 4380 residential units to affordable housing applicants in the city of Parand, Tehran province.

President Raisi and his cabinet members visit Parand city to take part in some inauguration ceremonies. Tehran Mayor Alireza Zakani and some provincial officials also participated in the inaugurations in Parand city.

Parand is located some 35 kilometers southwest of the Iranian capital. It is a newly built city in the central district of Robat Karim County.

The officials also inaugurated the 19-kilometer-long Tehran-Parand subway project on Thursday morning.

The subway project will provide 450,000 residents of the city with easy and fast access to Tehran. The subway is expected to be used by about 40,000 commuters on a daily basis.
