Iran urges UNCTAD to fulfill duties in helping Palestinians

Tehran, IRNA - Iran’s Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Office in Geneva Ali Bahraini has urged the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) to do its duties to help Palestinians against the Zionist regime's aggressions.

Addressing the 74th session of UNCTAD on Wednesday, Bahraini condemned the current attacks on Gaza and called for an immediate ceasefire.

He emphasized the serious impact of the long-term occupation in the region and called on the UNTCAD to fulfill its duties to help Palestine.
