Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani discussed mutual interests, the ongoing conflict in Gaza, and the latest developments in Palestine.

In a phone conversation on Monday, the two ministers called for immediate international intervention to compel the cessation of violations of international laws by the Zionist regime.

They emphasized the need for Islamic and Arab countries to provide immediate aid to Palestinians.

The foreign ministers also discussed the current status of diplomatic initiatives aimed at halting the aggression against Gaza.

This conversation is one of several that have taken place since the outbreak of the Gaza war on October 7.

The conflict has resulted in a rising death toll, with the number of Palestinians killed in airstrikes reaching 12,300. More than half of the victims are women and children.
