Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani has described the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm as a manifestation of the intelligence and prudence of the Islamic resistance, warning that if the Gaza conflict spreads, nothing will be left of the Israeli regime.

Bagheri Kani underlined in a televised interview on Monday night that Iranian representatives held a meeting with a political official of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas in the Russian capital Moscow and all sides reached the most significant conclusion that the Palestinian resistance has reached a sort of maturity that they can make plans for the far future.

He also said the point that he intends to emphasize is the fact that the clashes erupted on October 7 and in general the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm caused an irretrievable tremble in the heart of the security system of the Zionist regime; however, he added, another important issue is that the shiver shook the strategic mindset of the US-led Western world, and affected the United States’ unilateralism.

They failed to see the issue of Palestine as a security issue, he added.

The project of normalizing ties between the Israeli regime and other states was the offshoot of such a mindset, which puts aside the security project in Palestine, he said, adding that the region has entered a political phase and it is time to pick the fruits, while the other side pursued the normalization project between the illegitimate regime and the Islamic countries of the region.
