Tehran, IRNA – The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has started destroying surveillance cameras on several Israeli army posts along the border as tension rose following the outbreak of the Zionist regime-Hamas war.

According to the reports on Sunday, the bombardment of the Zionist army’s positions in the northern occupied Palestinian territories by Hezbollah has led to the disruption of part of the Zionist regime’s surveillance system at the borders.

Hezbollah announced in a statement that it has attacked Israeli positions in Al-Bayad and Al-Malikkiya on Lebanon’s southern border, TASS reported.

Earlier, a strike was delivered on an Israeli command and observation post in Yiftah. In response, the Zionist regime opened tank fire at the area near Blid in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli regime's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has warned Hezbollah against opening a second front against Israel.

"I can't tell you now if Hezbollah will decide to fully enter the war. If Hezbollah decides to enter the war, they will be making the biggest mistake of their lives. And we will hit them with an unimaginable force. It will mean devastation for them and the state of Lebanon," he said on Sunday when meeting with Israeli soldiers on the country's northern border.

Tensions remain high in southern Lebanon between Hezbollah and the Zionist regime amid the regime's onslaught against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah has expressed support for the October 7 unprecedented operation that Palestine’s Hamas Resistance group launched against the Zionist regime from the Gaza Strip.
