Tehran, IRNA – Palestinian resistance forces have launched new rocket attacks against Tel Avivi and its nearby areas in response to the Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip, which has killed thousands of people, mostly civilians.

Sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and two nearby areas including Bat Yam on Wednesday as the al-Qassam Brigades, which is the military wing of Palestine’s Hamas Resistance Movement, launched rocket attacks from Gaza, Palestinian and Zionist media reported.

The Israeli regime’s Iron Dome reportedly failed to intercept the rockets. There were no immediate reports of possible casualties.

The attacks took place as US President Joe Biden met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the occupied territories in a show of support for the regime.

Wednesday marks the 12th day of the Zionist regime’s war in the Gaza Strip, which according to Palestinian health officials has left more than 3,400 people martyred and over 12,000 more wounded. The officials say 70 percent of the victims are women, children and the elderly people.

On October 7, Hamas launched its unprecedented operation, Al-Aqsa Storm, against the regime in response to its escalating crimes against the Palestinian people and the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the past months.
