Hamas made the remarks in a statement on Wednesday, a day after the Israeli military targeted the hospital, killing at least 500 people.
It said the occupying regime has tried to present a false narrative and market it through blatant propaganda and talk that does not touch reality at all.
“This is the fascist occupation that threatened to bomb the [Al-Ahli Arab] Hospital along with 22 other hospitals and medical centers,” read the statement, adding that the blatant lies spread by the Zionist regime will not deceive anyone.
“The fascist occupation, which presented more than one account of the massacre from the first hour of its occurrence, is directly responsible for this horrific massacre that took place live on air with American firepower that only the occupation possesses,” it said.
Hamas also urged the United Nations and all countries to condemn “this heinous crime and stop this brutal aggression and genocide, which is being carried out by decisions of the occupation leaders on live television and in their press conferences.”
