Tehran, IRNA – Some 67 former Iranian diplomats, ambassadors and officials in charge of following foreign policy have issued a statement in condemnation of the crimes being committed by the Zionist regime of Israel in Gaza.

According to the statement the IRNA released on Tuesday, the officials warned the certain Arab and Islamic countries against the Zionist regime of Israel’s effort to normalize relations with the governments across world and region.

They should know that the aim behind such normalization is to legitimize the regime and excuse its occupation to annihilate the legitimate Resistance of a nation and forget crimes against the Palestinians, the statement said.

Somewhere in the statement, it is mentioned to regime’s 75-year occupation and reiterated that the Resistance against the Zionists’ aggression is absolute right of the Palestinian people.

The officials stressed that the support extended by the US and Western countries to the aggression of the occupying regime is an indication of their participation in crime against humanity and in war crimes.

Since the start of Al Aqsa Storm operation of the Resistance fighters against the Zionist regime of Israel on October 7, as many as 2,837 Palestinians have been killed and 12,000 have been injured.

Also, more than 1,400 Israelis have died during the war.
