“Good agreements have been reached between the public and private sectors of Iran and Belarus in the field of medicine and medical equipment, as well as mutual export and joint production of medicines,” Bahram Einollahi said on Monday, before Iranian Vice President Mohammad Mokhber departs Iran for Belarus at the head of a delegation.
Einollahi also said both sides are willing to increase cooperation in this field and remove obstacles, including the time-consuming and costly procedure of registering medicines and medical equipment in Belarus.
“Belarus requests to import some pharmaceutical products from Iran, and maximum cooperation will be done in this regard,” he said. “However, the volume of the production of certain medicines in Iran may not be necessary to export to other countries.”
Mokhber and his delegation will travel to Belarus on Tuesday to meet with the president, prime minister and speaker of the parliament of Belarus to discuss bilateral relations.
