Tehran, IRNA – In a phone conversation with Hissein Brahim Taha, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian discussed the developments in Palestine and announced Tehran’s readiness to host an extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers from OIC member states on the issue of Palestine.

Amirabdollahian urged all Islamic countries to take immediate action to assist the Palestinians.

Brahim Taha condemned the Zionists’ attacks against Palestinians and called for increased cooperation among Islamic countries to jointly respond to the aggression of the Israeli regime.

He also praised Iran’s initiative for holding a special meeting between the foreign ministers of OIC members for Palestine.
