Hangzhou, IRNA – Iran’s kabaddi team was edged past by India at a tightly-contested final game of the Asian Games to receive the silver medal of the tournament.

The misjudgment of the referee led to Iran’s lose in the first half while Iran was three points ahead of its rival right before the final whistle.

The referee continued with his misjudgment in the second half as just two minutes left to the end of the game, it paused the game for 80 minutes to review a scene by VAR and after that they wrongfully gave three points to India which received strong protest from Iran.

The title holders, Iran, finally lost the game 33-29 to the Indian team to receive the silver medal.
