Hangzhou, IRNA – Iran’s Greco-Roman wrestlers Nasser Alizadeh and Amin Kavianinejad won silver medals and Danial Sohrabi gained a bronze medal at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, on Wednesday.

Nasser Alizadeh in the 87-weight kg category of the tournament overcame his rivals from Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and India; however, he lost to his Uzbek competitor in the final and won a silver medal.

Amin Kavianinejad in the 77-weight kg category defeated his contenders from South Korea, Uzbekistan, and China, but he lost to his Kyrgyz contestant in the final.

In the 67-weight kg category, Danial Sohrabi succeeded in overcoming his competitors from North Korea and South Korea, but he lost to a rival from Kazakhstan in the semifinal.

On Thursday, Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers Hadi Saravi and Amin Mirzazadeh will meet their rivals in the 97kg and 130kg categories, respectively.
