Tehran, IRNA – The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has extended condolences over a fire incident occurred in a northwestern Iraqi city which left at least one-hundred dead.

Nasser Kanaani sympathized with the Iraqi nation, government, and the families of the victims of the sad event that took place in Iraqi northwestern province of Nineveh, the IRNA reported on Wednesday.

In his message of sympathy, Kanaani voiced the Islamic Republic's readiness for the dispatch of health aid to the neighboring country to help the stricken people.

Over 100 have been killed and hundreds of others have been injured when fire broke out in a wedding in Iraq on Tuesday evening.
