The exhibition which is the largest plastic industry event in West Asia and one of the most valuable plastic industry exhibitions in the world, aims to pave the way for prospering the market of the Iran-made plastic industries as well as facilitating the global marketing process and the presence of this sector in international markets, the IRNA reported on Sunday.
The event opened on September 17 at the Tehran international permanent fairground and it is scheduled to wrap up on September 20.
The inaugural ceremony was participated by Iran’s Minister of Oil Javad Oji along with some officials and managers of petrochemical companies.
The exhibition is being held in four categories of raw materials, pre-made and made products, machinery and equipment, as well as services.
Some 550 Iranian firms and 230 foreign companies from Germany, Spain, Italy, China, Turkey, South Korea, Taiwan, Syria and India take part in the event.
