Isfahan, IRNA - Head of Isfahan Province Elites Foundation has said that Muslim scientists from 40 countries will participate in the 5th Mustafa (PBUH) Prize which is supposed to be held in Iran's central city of Isfahan.

Addressing pressers in Isfahan on Wednesday, Hossein Rabbani said that Muslim scientists, whose scientific and technological activities have been influential in different societies and made progress in humanity, will participate in this event.

As many as 50 foreign media outlets have been invited to cover the event, he said, adding that nearly 150 foreign guests who will take part in the 5th Mustafa (PBUH) Prize are expected to be ambassadors to introduce Iran and the city of Isfahan to the world.

The Mustafa (PBUH) Prize event was launched in the early 1990s to identify outstanding works of scientists of the Islamic world for developing science and technology.

The 2023 Mustafa (PBUH) Prize is scheduled to be held in Isfahan city from September 28 to October 4.
