Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has said that the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi is determined to further expand relations with African countries.

Amirabdollahian said on Monday that Iran’s ties with African countries have already been growing, adding that the Raisi administration is working on the further expansion of those ties in political, economic and cultural fields.

The top diplomat made the comments in Tehran during a meeting with the newly-appointed ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Guinea-Conakry, Jamshid Parvizi.

The meeting took place ahead of the ambassador’s departure for the West African nation.
