Tehran, IRNA - Iran's Ambassador to Dushanbe Mohammad-Taghi Saberi met with Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin to bid farewell at the end of his diplomatic mission.

In the final days of his mission in Dushanbe, Saberi discussed the latest status of mutual ties between the two countries with Muhriddin on Monday and the two sides exchanged views on various issues.

The Tajik minister described the Iranian ambassador’s mission to his country as successful, expressing hope that Saberi will also play an appropriate role in consolidating the bonds of brotherhood between the two countries in the future.

The Iranian diplomat, for his part, expressed gratitude to the effective support and collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government agencies of Tajikistan in facilitating his mission, which have been in line with enhancing and expanding amicable relationship between the two governments and nations with same language.
