The homegrown military systems were supplied to the IRGC Navy during a Saturday ceremony attended by IRGC Chief Commander Major General Hossein Salami, IRGC Navy Chief Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, and other top commanders.
Describing the features of the hardware, Tangsiri said the new cruise and ballistic missiles are furnished with artificial intelligence and have longer ranges and reduced preparation time.
They are also well-capable of dealing with the enemy’s electronic warfare, he said.
“In drone systems, I can also point out that they have longer flight endurance, have larger and heavier warheads, can deal with the enemy’s electronic warfare, can shoot at mobile targets, and can accurately identify naval targets,” he explained.
He also said that the new drones have longer detection ranges in order to better counter enemy systems.
