Announcing the drill on Sunday, Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, the commander of the Iranian Air Force, said all Air Force bases will be actively involved, with Shahid Babaei Air Base in Isfahan Province taking the lead.
A squadron of the Air Force's fighter fleet has already been deployed to the Isfahan base, he said.
During the exercises, a versatile fleet of 92 aircraft will carry out an array of aerial operations, including reconnaissance missions, targeted air and ground destruction maneuvers, psychological warfare tactics, and electronic warfare simulations, said the commander.
Moreover, the Air Force’s well-trained pilots and technical personnel will also display their expertise in executing precise and destructive drone operations during the exercises, Vahedi said.
