Tehran, IRNA – Renowned Iranian poet, author, and painter Ahmad-Reza Ahmadi has passed away at the age of 83, according to the managing director of the Veteran Artists Institute Abbas Azimi.  

Born in Kerman, central Iran, in 1940, the late Ahmad-Reza Ahmadi was also active in the fields of cinema, music, editing, and children and young-adult literature.

“The last notebooks”, “The old-age notebooks”, “A thousand acacias were nothing in your eyes” and “Someday I will tell you” are among his best-known works.
