An IRNA report on Saturday said that Manouchehr Mohammadi will be in charge of the Survivor 2 project.
Directed by the late Seifollah Daad and produced by Manouchehr Mohammadi, The Survivor was based on a story by Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafani. It was premiered in 1995 and narrated the story of a palestinian doctor who lives with his wife and son in the occupied lands.
The IRNA report said a film script for the project is almost in its final stages, adding that the movie will soon announce its director and the cast.
