Tehran, IRNA – The uprising of the French people against the aggression of the state police that led to the death of a teenager entered the fourth day, while 994 were arrested during the protest only in one night.

Le Figaro, a French daily newspaper, has confirmed the number of the arrested on Friday, IRNA reported on Saturday.

Based on the remarks of France’s Minister of Interior Gérald Darmanin, 79 police forces have been wounded during the conflicts, 1,350 cars have been set on fire, 234 buildings have been burnt or damaged and 2,560 cases of fire have been reported from the streets.

Among the videos that went viral from the Friday events in France, the footage shows the burning of a library in Metz in northeast of France where some manuscripts may be kept.

The uprising and riots have been breaking out all across France after the killing of a teen in the country by the police there.
