Tehran, IRNA – According to the 72nd edition of the Statistical Review of World Energy, Iran's crude oil production in 2021 increased in comparison with 2022.

The report published on Monday by the Energy Institute (EI) showed that Iran’s oil production (crude oil, gas condensate and gas liquids) in 2022 has had a significant output and reached 3.822 million bpd, which shows a 4.6% increase compared to the previous year. Iran’s oil production in 2021 was 3.653 million bpd.

According to the figures published by the Statistical Review of World Energy, Iran's crude oil and gas condensate production in 2022 was recorded at 3.313 million barrels, which shows an increase of 4.1% (129,000 bpd) compared to 2021. Iran's crude oil and gas condensate production in 2021 was recorded at 3.184 million bpd.

According to the Statistical Review of World Energy, Iran's gas liquids (NGL) production in 2022 was 509,000 bpd, which shows an increase of 8.5% (40,000 bpd) compared to 2021, which was 469,000 bpd.
